I am so excited to be working in my dream job right now. Working at The GameBoard with Lynn and Kevin has been such an awesome experience!
Those of you who know me know that 2012 had some very dramatic highs and lows for me. One day I was loving my home life, complete with fiancee and 2 beautiful little girls. I relished working towards opening up a board game pub with a fantastically smart business partner. And it seemed to me that the next day I was packing my bags and leaving Columbus and everything I loved behind. Despite that and all of the stuff that happened in between, I always believe everything happens for a reason!
It is not quite an entire month into 2013 yet, and already I believe this is going to be the best year yet! Already I am thankful for a fantastic job, a roof over my head, friends and new fantastic opportunities around each corner.
Speaking of one such opportunity- since I was a little girl I have dreamt of being a published author. I have always taken the quote, “the pen is mightier than the sword” to heart.
